Vanity Fare broke into the charts in 1968 with the summer hit `I Live for the Sun` and went on to achieve gold discs for `Early in the Morning `and `Hitchin’ a Ride`. They then continued with a string of hits well into the late 1960`s and early 70`s.
Over the years Vanity Fare have continued to play and tour with some of the biggest `names` of the sixties. Featured on this album are Chris Farlowe, covering the Small Faces `Afterglow`(of your Love), Ray Phillips of the Nashville Teens with the Moby Grape tune `Can’t Be So Bad' and the late Peter Sarstedt with `Hemingway` which he performed with the band during their 2010 British tour.
After decades of recording and touring the release of `West Coast' firmly establishes the band in the 21st Century.
