Featuring Chris Farlowe. Peter Sarstedt and Ray Phillips
Vanity Fare broke into the charts in 1968 with the summer hit 'I Live for the Sun' and went on to achieve gold discs for 'Early in the Morning' and 'Hitchin’ a Ride'. They then continued with a string of hits well into the late 1960's and early 70's.
Over the years Vanity Fare have continued to play and tour with some of the biggest 'names' of the sixties. Featured on this album are Chris Farlowe, covering the Small Faces 'Afterglow'(of your Love), Ray Phillips of the Nashville Teens with the Moby Grape tune 'Can’t Be So Bad' and the late Peter Sarstedt with `Hemingway` which he performed with the band during their 2010 British tour.
After decades of recording and touring the release of 'West Coast' firmly establishes the band in the 21st Century.
